Pelicans @ NICE corridor (Electronic city ) Bangalore

Dear All,
I spotted pelicans at nice corridor Bangalore last Sunday .

I couldn't reach near , I have considered it as record shot.I watched them for more than an hour , i spotted nearly 15-20 of them.

Where exactly was this clicked? I take that road to mysore. Some gps coordinates if available would be nice for future documentation purpose. The way construction activity is going on in that area, there will be nothing left in a few months.

Nice record. I think birds used to frequent the small lakes on both the sides of the highway. Its good to know pelicans are still there. I agree with Sabyasachi, with the highway and the traffic that will be soon gone. Thanks for sharing.

Nice record shot Akshay, I am glad to know pelicans have arrived here. However can you provide the exact directions assuming if we drive in from hosur road towards Bannerghatta, there is one lake on left before the toll both and other on right. This place is 20 mins drive from my residence hence keen to visit it at leisure:001_smile:

Dear All, thanks for the comments.

Praveen: I am observing these pelicans from last one month.
And coming to route, From Hosur main road ( towards bangalore) after E city you take a left turn to NICE road , before the TOLL u see a big lake this is the exact location where i spotted them.

This is my regular cab route, I stay in kengeri we take kengeri to gottigere and gottigere to E city NICE ROADS, i can check regularly abouth their vists and let you know.
