The eye contact and the wing spread is nice. There is some loss of details, is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

It is good that the bird is flying nearly parallel to you. It would have been great if the wings were completely up or down. Complete upstroke or downstroke of the wings look best as well as help in ensuring that the head is also in focus. The reason is, focus easily locks on the wings due to the feather patterns and higher contrast and also because of the higher surface area as opposed to the lower surface area of the head. If the wings are not completely up or down, then the wings are about a feet and half or so away from the head and hence when focus locks on the wings, the depth of field is insufficient to cover the head.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Nice flight image. I would also suggest to reclaim some of the detail lost under the wings by pulling up the curve in the shadow areas.
