Dear all, this picture was taken at sultanpur natinal park just 15 km from gurgaon, lot of birds reach this winter.

Good to hear that there are many birds in Sultanpur this year. May be I will try a trip in Jan.
Normally we see a solitary purple heron. In this case there are two. for such tall birds, the ideal composition is a vertical one. Also, in this case, the focus seems to be locked a little bit behind the birds on the vegetation.
I would prefer manual focus when a bird is near lot of vegetation. Better to use the live view and focus manually. Thanks for sharing.

The symmetry looks good. Nice eye contact. Agree a vertical composition would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more from Sultanpur.
