This was perched on a branch in a dense area under shade, light was tricky. Shot this from the boat

Superbly captured, Praveen! Nice exposure especially considering lack of light. Compo is good - may be some more space in the front would have worked. Good example of high ISO shot from 7D. TFS.

Lovely perch and eye contact. The details are nice. The mud on the beak adds to the image. Agree with Tushar about placing the bird a bit more to the right. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic shot.Very good details even at such a high ISO.Catchlight looks nice.Wish you could narrow down the aperture a bit.BTW have you done any noise reduction? TFS

Very nice image praveen. Wish the spot light was on the head as well. :-)

Good shot at high ISO. Soiled beak is nice.
Now my intesion for taking 7D is added up... :)
