Nice hair style :). A vertical composition to include the bird in full would have been better. I think the AF point is locked on the leaves on the left, so the bird is not sharp, do check. Thanks for sharing.

A close up in a vertical orientation would have been better. Wish the Sun was behind your shoulders so that the bird would have been lit with frontal lighting. Probably there is a bit of subject motion due to which the bird doesnt appear sharp? You may need to check the uncropped version in RAW using zoombrowser or Digital Photo Professional (the software that comes bundled with Canon Cameras) to see the focus point. Thanks for sharing.
