The wing towards us is completely up and looks good. Also, the bird is flying nearly parallel to you ie. with the head slightly away from you. Completely parallel would be great.
While shooting a small bird against the sky, you have to give a positive exposure compensation, if you are shooting in Av or Tv mode. Else, the bird will be underexposed and you will have to pull up the exposure during post processing.
Also, if the bird is small in the frame, then it is better to use centre point AF and place it on the body of the bird. That is much better than the other AF points. Ofcourse, these days some cameras are having cross type sensors apart from the central sensor as well.
