It is not easy to shoot in dense vegetation. It is good that you got the head in the clear. Since the bird is small and is against the light ie. sky is the background, while shooting in Av or Tv mode, a positive exposure compensation needs to be given so that the bird is exposed right. In this case, slight increase in brightness would be good. Thanks for sharing.
