Its nice that you got the shot from your balcony. Is it a crop? and if so how big a crop is it?

The shutter speed is adequate for capturing this one in flight. You got it when it was angled away from you. So the eye is not so prominent. It would have been nice if it were angled towards you. Increasing the black point will help.

Yes, this is a crop. It is 35% zoom of the original image. I waited for quite sometime to get shot with head angled towards me but finally had to settle with this one. Perhaps next weekend...

Your camera did great job with ISO 800, the noise is hardly visible afer crop.
I agree with Saby and also feel that 1 stop less light would have better.
but nevertheless this is gr8 image.... TFS
