Nice feeding pose. A narrow aperture would have better in this case

Yes but the light was too dim and at low SS the quality if the image will be dull
So just sharpened During the PP and posted.

The image is a bit dark. I agree with Praveen that a narrow aperture would have been good. ISO 400 would have been fine. If you have time, then check the histogram and push the histogram to the right, as much as possible, without burning the whites. That would give the maximum amount of details in the image. Thanks for sharing.

ISO 400 would have given one stop more light, so you would have got 1/800 at f8. I would have preferred 1/800, f7.1 and EV:+1/3rd.
