CHE from Gir national park. Despite my best efforts, could not fit in the tail from where we were positioned, curse of the prime i guess !!
5DII + 300F4 + 1.4xII at 1/500, f5.6, ISO 640

When we see the tail, it strikes our mind, that the tail is cut. I feel, if you would have left less space at the bottom just to completely eliminate the hint of the tail and more at the top, it would have been better.
If you had used the 50D, then you would have been forced to go for a head and shoulder portrait. It is always good to have a friend from whom one can snatch equipment. :D Thanks for sharing.

Nice perch. I liked the eye contact. Its nice that there is light on the eye. The details are nice. Thinking if a slight off-centred composition would have looked better. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot.I would prefer call it a crested Hawk Eagle rather than changeable:0.TFS
