The composition is nice. The stream leads the eye into the frame. I feel slight less space in the foreground would have enhanced the composition further. The fog on the water looks nice. You using the auto mode or the manual mode to photograph? Look forward to more from GIR. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you were at a higher view point so the camera was pointed down. That has resulted in more of the sand bed in the image. Pointing the camera up would have resulted in less of the sandbed. However, you have another challenge interms of the light. The light was low and fading and was against you. Else, the scene would have become much better.
