Photographed this at Hasserghatta.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/800, f8,ISO 200, hand held.

The light has been quite harsh.

Cute bird. Nice image. Without the hint of the branch at the bottom of the frame towards the right edge, the image would have been even better. However, there was no way to point the camera up as the tail would have got clipped. So only a vertical composition would have eliminate that. Else, less space at the top and more below to allow inclusion of more branches at the bottom, if possible, would have been better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image Mrudul, she was really cooperative to pose for us for long. I wish the light not so harsh.
