Nice image. The eye contact is good. The insect in the beak is a bonus. I agree that a bit less contrast and slightly less sharpening would be good. The leaf in the background does attract attention, however, I am not sure if you could have moved to the left to avoid it, as the bird is likely to have flown. Thanks for sharing.
