It seems you enjoyed the 5D II a lot.
The low angle is nice and makes for an intimate viewing. I wish the light was from the right. That would have eliminated the shadows. Infact, if the light were from the right, then it would have been a good idea to move more to the right and compose along with the cuve of the mound to create a pattern with the body (two convex lines). In the present situation, it would have been better to move to the left to reduce the shadow portion of the body.
I have virtually stopped using flash. Don't remember when was the last time I used. However, in this case, from the same position, it would have been better to use a fill flash to open up the shadows. Thanks for sharing.
