View Full Version : Croc at Ranganthittu nesting season 2011

One of the numerous crocodiles of Ranganthittu bird sanctuary (near Mysore) basking in the hot sun on Sun, Jan 30, 2011 afternoon (around 1600 hrs). As I could spot with a binoculars, there were about 10 of them basking like this one, on the far end of the water where the boats were not allowed to go.

A very typical behavior of the crocodiles. Seems like a huge fellow. Wish it was facing towards you, or you could if possible move a bit more to the right. The habitat is nice. Thanks for sharing.

Big guy. Wish you had got a more side on profile, as the mugger is facing away from you. Also, its shadow side is facing towards you so the details dont come out well.
