Purple Rumped Sunbird/Belgaum

Shot this in my garden at Belgaum residence. As you may these birds are quick, photographing such birds need higher shutter speed say 1/800 min. I was in the living room when I saw it and had to shoot it from the window.

The eye contact is nice. The background would have come better with your 500mm at f4. You can also place a few plants at the right locations, to get a more greener and diffused background. Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact. You certainly have a lovely garden, with these birds coming in :) the details are very good ...only wish the tail was in focus!
