This is a super image! A shutter speed of 1/1250sec!! You should have used a bean bag, because the 400 f5.6 lacks IS and by using a bean bag in jeeps and a monopod on walks, you can use a much much lower shutter speed at lower ISO's too- say ISO 200 or 400:) and most importantly, without camera shake. Not that there is shake here, but I'm sure it does not feel too comfortable to shoot with a lens without IS handheld...

Nice calling pose. The eye contact is good. The catchlight looks nice. The perch is nice as well. The background has come out nicely diffused. Wish the stalk at the bottom right corner was not there. How big is the crop? You have uploaded a file size of only 96.67 kb. You can increase the file size upto 300kb. May be due to the small file size the sharpness looks a bit low. Or did you upload a file larger than 300kb and the software automatically resized it?
