Not much thought about the setting Just set ISO 1600 and 800 and AV mode.
Even Don't know what happened during the fight just clicking Shot around 30-40 clicks.
I hope all of you like the series.

In this frame as well as the previous fame of this series, the light through the pouch looks good as is the most important part of the image.

Is this full frame?

Why this composition?
If you were to show the pelican perched on top of a rock, then this composition works. However, when you are documenting a scene of a fight, leaving so much of space at the bottom and little at the top doesn't help. I think pointing your camera upwards may have resulted in the two protagonists being captured in the frame.

I am not sure darkening & blurring the background strengthens the composition.

A very interesting pose captured. The wide open beak shows a different behaviour. I agree adding the space from the bottom to the top would have been good. Was the river tern flying very high? Look forward to more in the series. Thanks for sharing.

Yes i am going to post all the images are FF. Definitely for this frame i will crop at the bottom, but needs more advice from all of you .
How much attention should be paid to the frames like this in nature photography? how to set parameter if such kind of things occur immediately.

I think 800- 1600 ISO is fine and can be removed easily in PP.
