It is good that the head is parallel to the camera and eye has come out well. I agree that the colour of the bird complements the habitat/background. How come you used the 70-300 instead of the 400 f5.6? Thanks for sharing.

I have given my 400mm to canon service for a AF calibration, they just don't seem to be able to complete/revert! :confused1::mad:

Which Canon service centre? They have level four service centres so, it should not be a problem.

Mumbai, level 4. kept it with them for 6 weeks in november, nothing done, i took it off them for a trip; gave it back in the second week of jan finally got it today, after escalations.:001_rolleyes:
