Shot this image at around 6.40 pm. The light wasn't at all conducive for photography!

Nice relaxed pose. The eye contact is good. Thinking zooming out a bit more and shifting the camera to the right would have been good to get the leopard in full. The light really seems quite bad. You got it quite nicely in such low shutter speed as 1/40. Look forward to more from Bandipur. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul. I do have a few shots with the leopard in full..this shot is only an experiment. Will post a few more images of the leopard soon!

Nice one Bhargava, it was nice to see him so relaxed for about 10-15 mins. We had all the time in the world to experiment with our settings:)

Bharagava,
Is this full frame? Unless we know it is full frame, it becomes difficult to comment. Did you enhance the contrast?

Which AF point were you using?

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

This one is full frame. I hadn't boosted the contrast..may be I should try that! I was using the center AF point.

Just check the settings in your camera. Do you have the High ISO noise reduction option on?

The high ISO noise reduction is enabled but set to low. Do you recommend it to be strong?
