It is always tough to get a pleasing image of a bird perched overhead. The head remains farther away and the body portion becomes more prominent. In such situations, it is better to try to get in more environment for eg a branch arching around it etc so that one it partially negates the angle and eye contact issues. However, creating a good environmental image is not easy as there would be different branches and leaves etc in all directions and one has to isolate a pleasing composition. Thanks for sharing.

The catchlight in the eye is nice. Agree some more space all around would have been good. Thanks for sharing.
