The perch is nice. It is good you got the bird in clear. A slight head turn would have enhanced the eye contact further. It will be good if you lock the aspect ratio while cropping, that will ensure that the image looks proportional. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul. When you crop better to lock the aspect ratio. In large crops the purple fringing around high contrast areas (border between dark and bright) become evident. Generally one finds this when shooting against the light and while inspecting the resulting image at 100%.

In my childhood days I used to admire this bird when they used to frequent our backyard. Thanks for sharing.
