This picture is taken by my nine year old son Arjun he 100%m follows his elder brother arya this picture is taken by canon point & shoot camera at Jim corbette.

Lovely first post. Its great to know both Arya and Arjun are interested in wildlife photography and they are starting so early :-).

Arjun, the perch is nice. The light is a bit tricky. Wish the light was from the left. You have done nicely in the given conditions. Placing the bird a bit more to the right would also have strengthened the composition further. Nicely captured. Look forward to see more from you. Thanks for sharing.

Good to know that you are also photographing. This is a good effort in your part.

I agree with Mrudul's comment. In bird photography frontal lighting brings out better details in the face ie. when the Sun is behind your back the lighting on the bird is directly from the front. So the features are well lit. In this case, the lighting is from the side, so one eye (the birds left eye ie the eye on the right of the frame) is in light and the other part of the face is in shadow.

The images, even by the young kids below 10yrs, 11-14 yrs, 15-17 yrs categories are of very high quality. Watch those and you will get to learn a lot.

Ask questions when you don't understand. As they say, if you are hungry and if you don't know about something, then immediately open your mouth and speak out. Try to read the comments in all the images and read the tips section. Your learning will be fast and all of us will be proud.
