Tiger strangulating the sambhar in the Bandhavgarh National park.
EOS 50D + 300 f4 @ 1/500., f8, ISO 500.
Lot of IQ lost in somehow minimizing the impact of the chainlink mesh.

What a natural history moment captured. Good eye contact. The lifeless eyes of the sambar say a lot. The light is tricky, as there is very bright and dark areas. It is good you got good light on the tiger. Really lucky to witness this. Thanks for sharing.

Tough shooting conditions. However, it is always a special moment to watch a tiger killing its prey. You can never thank your fate enough for watching such special moments. Photography becomes a challenge especially with man-made impediments like the chain fence and would give it the appearance of a zoo. Wish the tiger and sambar were completely lit. Having part of their bodies in shadows makes for difficult exposure. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.
