Sweet bird. Nice calling pose. I like the eye contact. How come only ISO 200 as the shutter speed is 1/100? Thanks for sharing.

@Sabyasachi - My rule of thumb is 1/100s shutter speed for perched birds. I like to keep ISO as small as possible, to avoid noise. Luckily for me, the bird was calling for quite some time and I could take the liberty of reviewing my first couple of shots before shooting further. If the review had shown any shake, I would've bumped up the ISO a little bit more.

I like the calling pose. The colors look good and eye has come out nice. Do you know about why the bird had been calling for so long?

Thanks Bhargava. Not sure about the reason for the calling, but got to know that they call actively when they are nesting (as against calls during mating). Will share any info that I get on this.
