Not sure if he's M1 or M2. Happily posed for the cameras for 10-15mins and then walked away searching for his siblings.

Canon 40D, Canon 100-400 IS.
P.S. Will post exif later.

Whatever the exif, the snarl is nice. Those eyes look fierce...a little more contrast will be good:)

Anup,
You got the eye contact right. It is good that you got the face in the clear. I am ok with the present level of contrast, anything higher will further darken the black stripes.

I am not sure whether this is a large crop of you are working on jpegs (as mentioned in the previous image). There are some sharpening artifacts visible on the bridge of the nose. You can also experiment with a loose crop.

A vertical would also work. However, unless the tiger yawns repeatedly, there is no way one can move from horizontal to vertical during a burst. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Lovely behavior captured. The canines look good. Including some more habitat would have been nice. Any specific reason for it to snarl? Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Lovely image and scary snarl. Probably he is not liking so much attention by the photographers:001_smile:.The eye contact and canines have come out well.
