Palm civet - Paradoxurus hermaphroditus at BR Hills
Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM, ISO 1600, f2.8, 1/125, handheld, full frame image.
Light was really bad with lot of mist. However, can't blame it as it is because of the light, we got to see it.
Cheers,

Wow! Sabyasachi this has come out well, liked it more than the previous posting. Light seems really bad, even with f2.8 and ISO 1600 the shutter speed is still low. However the image has come out well despite the tough shooting conditions. I feel the foreground is a bit bright and distracting, reducing highlights may help.

You got some nice eye contact. The light as well as the shooting conditions were difficult with the civet hiding inside the tree. One good thing was that we were quite close to it. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

This looks even better. The lair (i presume it is) adds a lot to the image.Wish the outer bark of the tree was in focus as well.
