Nice perch and eye contact. The ruffled feathers look good. I think reducing the saturation a bit would be good. Thanks for sharing.

The ruffled feathers look good. I like the eye contact. There are sharpening artifacts at the edges of the feathers. Since this was perched at a higher level than the camera, the underparts of the tail and lower body is visible and the dark shadows attract attention. Opening up the shadows a bit will be good. Reducing the contrast will also enhance the image, as the highlight in the perch has become hot.

This is a colourful bird and one never tires watching and photographing them. I still remember the thrill of getting a full frame image with a 300mm lens in a film camera. Thanks for sharing.
