Shot way back in Dec when the winter visitors were still around. This bird was part of a mixed flock of Malabar Starlings and Chestnut Tailed starlings. Sturnia malabarica malabarica

500D, 55-250, 250mm, 1/500, AE. f6.3. ISO 400, Cropped image.

Nice eye contact and perch. Its good you got it with a berry in the beak. The vertical composition looks nice. The habitat displayed is nice. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see one with berries. How come a top down shooting position.

This was shot on a hillock.I was at a slightly elevated postion . I guess the crop has also added to this.
