An oriental magpie robin shot at bandipur yesterday. The BG is distracting but there was nothing much I could do about it. Moving in any direction would have also resluted in a similar Bg:(

f6.3, 1/800sec, ISO 400, EV +0.3, 400mm, cropped.

canon 60D, canon 100-400 L IS, bean bag support.

Cute fellow. Uniformly bright background like the out of focus tree behind the bird would have been better. Thanks for sharing.

Bhargava did you try moving the opposite direction:laugh:, just kidding.
As i said this is by far the best bird shots from you in recent times. At times we can't do much about the background and must leave it as is. You can try a vertical crop and check how it looks. However this is wonderful image.
