First of all, apologies for not being active on the forum lately. Have been super busy with work with the new financial year, so couldn't comment as much. however I have been continuously following all image postings over the period. Some amazing posts in the Mammals Section, I must say.

I haven't had a chance to go out for Photography much either during this while hence digging into my archives.

From Valparai in September.
Full Frame image.

Nice close-up..I somehow feel he looks sad! The BG is nicely diffused...but reducing the brightness of the bg would be good.

Nice eye contact. The shutter speed was quite less. The details are good. Did you try a vertical? Thanks for sharing.

The situation for these guys is tough. The clear felling of trees makes it difficult for them to survive.

The background looks nice. Light seems pretty low. Was it raining or cloudy?

Cheers,

The eyes of this species are magnetic and you have captured a nice melancholic mood here. Nice Bg and good details for the SS.
