Shot yesterday evening at Shamirpet lake, hyderabad.

canon 60D
canon 10-400 L IS

f6.3, 1/800sec, ISO 400, EV +0.3, 400mm.

Seems like a Oriental Skylark to me. Nice eye contact. Wish you were a bit closer. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely, as mentioned lying flat would be better.

I agree with Praveen. With such small birds lying flat on belly would give a nice perspective. The background will be diffused.
