Lovely composition. The coconut branch frames the image nicely. You can crop a bit from the right to remove the hint of leaves. Were you using the lens hood? Thanks for sharing.

The horizon cuts the image into two equal parts. That makes the image a bit static. I feel it becomes difficult to critique images with more that 900 pixels on the vertical direction.

Cropping a bit from the top would result in the horizon being a bit offcentre. I would prefer to have less space at the top, because the sky is not so very interesting. The waters on the other hand has got the reflection and the ripples. So retaining the lower portion and less at the top would be good. Also there is slight hint of leaves at the top of the frame. So cropping from the top is a must.

As mentioned by Mrudul, there is also a hint of leaves on the right frame edge. so cropping a bit from the right will also be good.
