Agree with the comments made...by moving forward slightly, you could have avoided the distracting grass blades in the foreground.

I agree with the previous comments. You can't chase these small birds. Best is to watch them for sometime and then place yourself. They can come within range if one is lying flat on ground without movements or hiding behind bush.
