Actually I wanted to capture the couple as well as the moon...unfortunately, I suppose, the aperture had to be even higher(max in my cam is 8.0)

The eye contact on the bird on the left is nice. You could have moved the camera a bit more to the right as the empty space on the left doesn't add to the composition. Agree a higher aperture would be required to get the moon in focus. A lower angle would have looked good (I know you try to do photography from your terrace). Thanks for sharing. It's a nice idea. Agree that a lower angle would be better, when the moon is closer to the horizon. Unfortunately you can't set a higher Av in your camera. Won't be fair to ask for a natural perch here :).

Best to get the focus on the subject right. Focus and sharpness of the subject is important. Also, you need to be very close to the subject, so that the subject appears large in the frame.
