Shot this woodpecker during the recent trip to Bandipur, not sure if this compo works:confused1:

Different composition. Trying to make out how exactly you photographed it :). The eye contact is nice. Good details. If it is a crop, some more space at the top would be good. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed tried something different Mrudul, there's no space on top unfortunately. Cropped from the bottom:001_smile:

Same with me..can't make out how this was shot. Was it shot vertically and then rotated? :):) But looks nice anyway....agree about space at the top. Would have been great if the bird was positioned with its beak into the hollow!

There is disproportionate attention on the dark hole in the tree trunk. I would prefer a loose composition here. Moving the camera a bit to the left would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
