Greater Coucal from Bandhavgarh

This is probably a greater coucal.....shot in the Bandhavgarh forest.
Camera body : Nikon D-90
Camera lens : Nikon 500mm /F-4

The eye contact is nice. A vertical composition would have been good in this case, as presently the tail is cut-off. Is this a crop? There is some loss of details. Thanks for sharing.

It is said these birds bring in good luck!, a vertical composition would have been better. Agree with comments made by Mrudul

I agree that a vertical would have been great. What was the shutter speed and aperture? I didn't knew that these birds bring good luck. I should then start photographing them. :-)
