This photograph, I made it in Cubbon Park , Bangalore. Distributed throughout South Asia & a non resident bird in Karnataka. Measures 23 - 25 cms in length & exhibit natural camouflage. Its nocturnal. Feeds on insects & beetles. Breeding season is from January to April. :o

Wow! Lovely image, good to get these at Cubbon park. The eyes have come out well for the one on right. I believe the light is a pretty low, else a narrow aperture would have been good.

I like their eyes. They look cute. Wish you had better light. May be you can try photographing them again in better light. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pair. Lovely eye contact. It is good you could get them in the open. Wish the out of focus patch on the right bottom was not present. Thanks for sharing the information. Look forward to more.

Thanks for comments. Lens used was AF-S Nikkor 70 - 300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G ED (VR)
