Location-Nagaon,Assam.Light was bad due to overcast sky in the evening.Storks were about 70 meters away from where I was standing and there was no chance to move closer as paddy field was full of water.

Nice habitat all around....the lighting in Assam is never too conducive for photography. It would have been good if you moved to the right or waited for an oppurtunity to get only one stork in the frame with the subject placed to one corner and some space in the direction the bird is walking:)

Nice feel to the image. Tough to compose, since the birds are facing opposite directions. Looks like there is one more flying in from the left. The habitat looks nice. Wondering whether the uncropped image would look better.

It becomes difficult to move close to the open billed storks as there is hardly any cover. One needs to be very patient and slowly move along the ridge of the rice fields. Most of the times you find them in the fields as they pick up snails etc for food. You can try reaching the spot before sunrise and wait for them to fly to the fields. That way you will get them in good light as well.
