I'd go with Mrudul on the gender, though I am afraid the poll is a trick up your sleeve to confuse the voters:) I have previously seen tigers which at first sight appear to be male because of sheer size, but it actually turns out the other way!

Please share the exif data. The image does not look very sharp.
