I had spotted this white-eyed buzzard while driving to our resort in tadoba. By the time I could explain it our driver in my Hindi (if you could call it that!),
we had passed a good 200m and had to return in reverse. Anyway, the bird was still there and I got a few images
..and "All is well that ends well.."
f7.1,1/320sec,EV 0, ISO 400, eval metering, cropped
canon 60D, canon 100-400 L IS USM

P.S: Nothing much done with the background...sky formed a part of the BG (just two small circles, it was). I used the spot-healing brush to convert it into green, which in reality formed almost 85% of the BG :)

I am sure your hindi is better than my Tamil/Kannada/Malaylam/Telugu :D

Nice sighting. The curved branch looks good. You will get a better bokeh with the longer teles.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Lovely composition. Nice head turn and eye contact. The BG looks too artificial, could you post the original please?
Your persistence got you this shot, it seems. :p

Bhargava, I would love to use the tool you use for PP. What is that?

Nice perch and eye contact. I agree with Abhishek, the background stand out, as the part around the bird is different than the one at the top. Can you post the original, so we cna compare. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys for the comments. Will post the full-frame image where the BG is not played with first thing in the morning tomorrow. This image was more of an experiment with PP, but could not resist posting it :(

Ashok, I had used the spot-healing brush tool in photoshop CS5. However, this is the first time I have used something like that to my image and would not recommend it to anyone..it's best to keep your images as is and not alter with the constituents of the image :)
