canon 60D, canon 100-400 L IS USM
f8, 1/125sec, ISO 640, EV +0.3, 400mm, cropped slightly, eval metering

P.S: The BG has not been altered digitally (I myself got that doubt D:)...
there was some portion at the bottom which was covered by the DoF, and got cropped. Not sure if this compo works..ideally, there should be lesser space at the top..in fact, I have images like that with the dog covered fully..but like the BG here.

No Neil. I used the smart sharpen tool like I always do :)

The composition looks unbalanced. I would prefer to see the full legs. Either only the head or the full body would have been better. The background looks well diffused. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Even I thought that you would have changed the bg:), the image has come out well. Agree with Sabyasachi's comments on composition.

The other day I heard that on palace grounds a CD was sold for Rs.200/- with 1500 lovely bg's :).

Nice portrait. Agree with the above comments. Do post the other composition. Thanks for sharing.

Praveen, 1500 bgs, so the demand for good background is so high :).
