Oriental White eye

A slightly noisey picture, but the fleeting glimpse of this little one was too tempting and it presented just one chance for a snap. I wanted to experiment with the 100-400 but before i could get the other camera out, it was gone . . .

40D, Sigma APO 150-500 OS, F6.4, 1/250 Shutter, ISO 800.

Very pleasing colors here. The bird is exactly at the centre of the frame..an off-centred compsition will be better with more space to the right. On a side note, the 100-400 would have surely done better here:)
