These days we find these birds a lot in the cities. The vertical composition is nice. Good eye contact. Is the pole slightly tilted? Thanks for sharing.

Ah yes. We see a lot of these kites in hyderabad as well. Nice details and near perfect exposure. The composition is good. I too can see a slight tilt in the pole to the left..nothing to do with your technique though.

Nice shot. For me, the nictitating membrane adds value to this image. These birds provide some respite when you can't wait to photograph raptors but are stuck in the city :).
