Melancholy..!

Whenevr I see a langur, a feeling of melancholy takes over my thoughts. Probably it is the dull shades of grey and the pattern of how the mouth is shaped responsible for this!

Good job with the exposure. Nice eye contact. A higher SS would have been good, but you were already at ISO 800. Personally, I would have zoomed all the way out to include the tail, but I suppose you wanted a closeup to show the facial expressions.
Strange thought about the melancholy feeling... maybe you are comparing them to the much, much bolder macaques? (Unfair :D)

No idea really. May be a difference in the color of leaves? Something to do with metering? I hadn't observed the surrounding while making the picture:(
