Very nice head turn. I like the fact that the blacks are well-lit here. Did you try at narrower apertures? (though I see the shutter speed was already quite low)

Now, what was the exposure compensation? The whites just below the nexk seems to be slightly blown?

Hi Bhargava,
These birds are difficult to expose due to the blacks in their heads. So I preferred to overexpose the whites in the neck (not blown though) and expose the head properly. Exposure compensation was zero.

This is slightly cropped. Will have to calculate the actual percentage of crop when I get home as I am currently on my office laptop.
