Good Morning to All members of INDIAWILDS forum,Moderators and Administrator Shri Sabyasachi.
Born in 1947 in a remote village of East Midnapore,West Bengal and graduated from Presidency college(Physics),Kolkata and IIT,Kharagpur(Mech.Engg) with Honours,afterwards Specialisation made in Industrial Finance from IIB,Mumbai
I became a passionate lover of Nature and Wild Life since I visited Sariska (then)WLS in 1970 where I saw the Birds and Animals in their true Natural sorroundings and could distinguish difference between Deer and Antelope.I have visited more than 15 Tiger Reserves and National Parks from Dachigam in North to Tadoba Andhari in South,Kaziranga in East to Gir in the West.Canon EOS 300 is my trusted camera and Kodak 200 is my trusted film.I may join Digital era soon for sake of convenience,but unadulterated film photography will continue.

Dear Saktipada Babu,
It is a great pleasure to have you in IndiaWilds forums. Your knowledge of natural history and perspective is certainly enriching the discussions and would help increase the knowledge of our members.

I too had a Canon EOS 300 camera before I bought the Canon EOS 1V. Digital has made it easy to correct the exposure in the field as well as get instant feedback.

Nice knowing more about you. Nice to see that you continue to use film these days, look forward to your images shot with the EOS 300. Your contributions on natural history are also greatly valued here.
