The colours in the background coupled with the colours of the dragonfly add to the image appeal a lot. I like the shallow DOF leading to a pleasing background, but maybe 1/3rd or 2/3 stop more (6.3 or 7.1) might have given a better appeal without compromising too much on the creamy background. Did you experiment at different DOFs?
