To get the head in focus more depth of field is required (DOF) as presently it is away from you. What was the shutter speed? You could have tried using a narrower aperture to get more details. The background is lighted so the conditions are difficult to photograph. Also resting your camera on a bean ban or a tripod helps to avoid shake. Thanks for sharing.
