The Indian Gamma is also known as cat snake. It is a small snake with a compressed body and neck distinctly constricted. Its eyes are large with mustard yellow iris and vertical pupil. It is usually yellowish brown, sandy or fawn and is spotted with darker shades. At the dorsal side there are Y -shaped marks meeting at the center and resemble arrowheads. Its belly is white and on its lateral side there are brown spots.
Non venemous snake, shot at night in rain.

Very nice. Good composition and the flicked out tongue adds to it. Love the eyes of cat snakes. I think you could have tried a higher Av for more DoF.

I liked the composition. The eyes are nice and the flicked tongue makes the image more interesting. Agree increasing the ISO to 400 and using a narrower aperture like f6.3 or f7.1 for more DOF would have been good. Thanks for sharing the information. Look forward to more.
